Shoalhaven Avicultural Society to host 19th annual bird sale | Bega District News

Bird lovers and breeders alike will be gathering to buy and sell pet birds at the Nowra PCYC next Saturday, April 17. The event will be the Shoalhaven Avicultural Society’s 19th annual bird sale. The society are keen to host this year’s sale after cancelling last year’s event due to COVID-19. “We’ve got people coming from as far as Burlington, Canberra, the Blue Mountains and Orange to sell their birds,” said Ray Faulds, the President of the Shoalhaven Avicultural Society. “We normally have around 70 bird sellers, but due to COVID there are about 56 stalls booked this year.” Read more: Mr Faulds said there will be a range of birds for people to browse – from…
