The first Southern NSW Local Health District staff received a COVID-19 vaccination in Sydney today, in preparation for the opening of a vaccination outreach clinic at South East Regional Hospital, Bega. Two nurse immunisers, one immunisation coordinator and two vaccination administration staff rolled up their sleeves at Liverpool Hospital on Wednesday, February 24, as part of a comprehensive COVID-19 vaccination training session. The team of five will observe and learn from their colleagues from Liverpool Hospital’s hub before returning home to the Far South Coast, to assist with the local rollout.
