CD Projekt Uses DMCA to Have Stolen Source Code Tweets Removed – PCMag AU

The tweets linked to torrents of the source code for the game Gwent.

Earlier this month, hackers stole the source code for Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3, and Gwent from CD Projekt’s servers and then sold it for an undisclosed sum. Now the source code is leaking online, and CD Projekt is taking action to stop it being shared.
As Vice reports, CD Projekt decided to employ a copyright monitoring firm in an attempt to stop links to the stolen source code being shared online. It’s doing this by relying on the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)…
