Byron Bay, Tweed plunged into snap COVID-19 lockdown after case in community

Byron Bay, the Tweed Shire and Kempsey in Northern New South Wales will go back into COVID-19 lockdown.

The NSW government has called a seven-day lockdown from 5pm on Tuesday.

At least one COVID-19 case has been found to be infectious in the area at the end of last week.
